Rebecca Marland is a member of the Mere Christian Fellowship Board of Governors. She was born near Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire, England and was educated at Roedean School, Brighton, with A Levels in English and Biology.
Becky came to Canada in 1970. She and husband Jim live on a horse farm near Rocky Mountain House Alberta where Becky raises Haflinger horses and coaches equestrian vaulting at the international level, traveling to the US and Europe for competitions.
Becky is a committed Christian who was an early promoter of the Alpha for Catholics program in BC. She and husband Jim have 6 children!
