Mere Christian Fellowship is dedicated to fostering relationships of mutual enrichment between Christians of diverse traditions for the purpose of strengthening our Christian witness and service to the societies in which we live.
In John 17:21 Jesus prays that all Christians would be in fellowship with one another “so the world may believe” that the Father has sent Him. Accordingly, the purpose of Mere Christian Fellowship is to help build fruitful relationships between disciples of Christ from diverse traditions that have the basics in common, that is “those who [have] accepted the teaching of the apostles” (CS Lewis, Mere Christianity, 1952, xi), and who look to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Mere Christian Fellowship consists of faithful members of the Churches we attend and love. However, we make no claim to speak authoritatively for them.
