Bob Cheatley

Bob Cheatley is the past President of St. Stephen's University, St. Stephen NB, a "personal-size" trans-denominational Christian graduate and undergraduate school that features a unique study abroad program along with the University's campus-based programs. Bob is also Chair of the Board of Directors for Focus on the Family Canada and Board Chair at Greater Europe Mission Canada.  He is a member of the Mere Christian Fellowship Advisory Council.

Bob was born in Toronto where he attended high school and afterward graduated from the University of Guelph. He later moved to the West Coast and became involved in Saint Matthews Church, Abbotsford BC. Bob sometimes describes himself as an "Evangelical Charismatic," noting that that experience began at Saint Matthews in the late eighties and has stayed with him throughout the years. Bob's ministry focus there was Bible teaching, leading a 2 year through the Bible program, The Bethel Series, for 4 years. Upon going to the east coast to lead St.Stephen's, he was also involved with the St. Croix Vineyard and the Vineyard Bible Institute from 1996-2013.

Bob is an active proponent of Catholic/Evangelical relations, and has formed solid friendships with Catholic Bishops, priests and laity in his part of the world and beyond. Under Bob's leadership, SSU has developed a Catholic Studies program with the help of FCE Board member Dr. Robert Stackpole.
